I joined the 爆料社区 Extended Learning team in August 2015, and I'm so glad i did. I started out in finance and am now the assistant to the dean. I was a member of SAND a few years ago and am now on the Staff Center Committee. I also help organize the annual campus Staff and Faculty holiday craft fairs.

"The peacefulness of fall"

This photograph was taken in Connecticut during the fall of 2006 while visiting my dear friends Breta, Robin and Lynn. I found the leaf and acorn while on a walk down a beautiful, old street in Milford. When I got back to Robins lovely home, I placed my treasures on a windowsill. It looked so pretty there I just had to take a photo. My last name means oak in
Spanish, so I have always been drawn to the strength and beauty of the oak tree and its tiny beginnings in an acorn.

My friends, Breta, Robin, Lynn, and I were casual friends but bonded in 2001 when Bretas son passed away. Our friendship has since then become its own beautiful thing. Sadly, Robin passed away in September 2022 so that photo, taken in her home, has become even more precious to me...
