As the chief academic officer for Cal State San Marcos, the provost ensures the integrity and excellence of academic affairs. The provost oversees the deans of the colleges, extended learning, instructional and information technology services, and the university library, as well as the division鈥檚 academic associate vice presidents and the vice provost.
