The Chemistry and Biochemistery Department has a wide range of equipment used both
in teaching and student research projects. This hands on training is particularly
important in modern chemistry. We have for student use:
- Bruker ARX 400 MHz Nuclear Magnetic Resonance
- FTIR machines for research and organic labs
- 4 brands of UV/VIS spectrophotomers used at all levels of instruction
- 4 types Gas Chromatographs to provide a wide range of experience
- Variety of HPLC systems for classroom and research use
