Instructionally Related Activities, per , are defined as 鈥渢hose activities and laboratory experiences which are at least partially sponsored by an academic discipline or department and which are, in the judgment of the president鈥ntegrally related to its formal instructional offerings.鈥�

The Instructionally Related Activities Fee was established to provide support for essential educational experiences and activities that aid and supplement the fundamental educational mission of the institution.  These guidelines should be kept in mind when preparing the Request for Funds.

A completed application includes:

• IRA Proposal Guidelines & Request Form with Itemized Budget 2025-2026.
• Documents are due to Rosa Mora via email to rmora@csusm.edu by end of day April 16, 2025.  Late Proposals will not be considered.  Please reference the IRA Timeline for other deadlines.
• FY 2024-2025 recipients that intend to submit a continuation of their proposal must submit a final or preliminary summative report with project highlights, evaluation of outcomes, and a detailed account of actual & projected expenditures by April 16, 2025.
